　　1、修饰语+形容词

　　He found the filmvery interesting。他发现这部电影很有趣。

　　2、形容词+介词词组

　　He was absent from the meeting。他缺席会议。

　　The little boy was afraid of difficulties。这个小男孩畏惧困难。

　　My mother was busy with housework。我妈妈忙于家务。

　　He is keen on playing basketball。他热衷于打篮球。

　　3、形容词+不定式

　　（1）She isstupid not to follow your advice。

　　= It is stupid of her not to follow your advice。她真蠢，没听从你的建议。

　　（2）He isimpossible to teach。

　　= It is impossible to teach him。教他是不可能的。

　　（3）He was disappointed tohear about it。

　　=To hear about it disappointed him。听说那件事后，他很失望。

　　（4）The government should be quick to react。

　　=The government should react quickly。政府应当迅速应对。

　　（5）He was anxious to please his guests。

　　= He had a strong wish to please his guests。他迫切地想要客人们高兴。

　　4、形容词+ that-分句

　　I am sure that you will succeed。我确信你能成功。

　　He is confident that he will pass the exam。他有信心能通过考试。

　　类似形容词还有：certain，proud，sad，alarmed，annoyed，astonished，disappointed，pleased，shocked等词语。
